Ideational apraxia

• Motor planning impairment involves an inability to cognitively understand the motor demands of the task

• May use single objects correctly but will have difficulty with sequence of actions for object use

• For example, the patient may complete actions in incorrect order, such as pouring water from the kettle before putting it onto boil
