Tools and Outcome Measures

The assessment tools and outcome measures within this presentation have been split by the three domains:

• Body function/structure

• Activity

• Participation

However, it should be recognised that the outcome measures described do not necessarily fit exactly within one domain. They have been placed in the domain where they are felt to be most relevant.

Also remember that assessing a patient whilst they undertake a task in a familiar environment may demonstrate a patient's abilities/deficits more appropriately.
