"Fatigue is common after stroke.

Its most common features are a lack of energy or an increased need to rest every day.

It can be a source of distress and yet the causes are unknown. Half of long-term stroke survivors said they had experienced fatigue since the stroke and, of these, 43% said they had not received the help they needed (McKevitt et al. 2011)"
