How should a patient put on a bra?
- The patient should place the bra around their waist with the hook fastenings facing towards them
- When the hooks have been fastened, the patient should use their unaffected arm to place their weaker arm through the straps.
- They should then place their unaffected arm through the other strap and should then pull up the strap on their weaker arm to the shoulder using their unaffected arm
- The straps may then need to be adjusted as necessary and assistance may be needed with this
