Activity answers:
- She is young and was working pre-admission. Cognitive issues must be carefully considered and assessed to see if there are any problems which might affect her ability to work.
- Is this normal for her? Is it in the way you are explaining things? Are you intervening when there's a problem in a task, breaking her flow. Does she look to you for resolution just because you are there?
- What might the underlying impairments be?
- Attention (not paying full attention in conversation, missing cues, not noticing when task is beginning to go wrong)
- Executive functioning
- Any language difficulties causing difficulties in complex conversations
