Life before the stroke
It is important to discuss issues that relate to return to work early. Staff working within ESD are well placed to explore many of the issues that patients may have. Such as:
- Financial concerns
- A desire to return to work (or not)
- Worries about physical and mental deterioration
- Psychological distress and depression
- Social exclusion
