To be independent with basic DADL (hot drink, sandwich) by encouraging Mrs Smith to:

• verbally plan the task

• carry out bi-manual activities

• weight-bear through left upper limb on kitchen surface when not in use

• reach, grasp and release (normal patterns of movement through left upper limb)

• carry out washing up tasks to promote sensory input and bimanual activity; incorporate drying and putting away tasks (be mindful of knives in water and hot temperatures)

• attend to the left upper limb when putting items away with left upper limb for safety and success

• to use left upper limb when cleaning down surfaces
