Apraxia – motor

 

Assessment

• Motor apraxia is difficult to diagnose. The available tests are inconsistent and appear to test for different aspects of apraxia (Butler 2002)

• Assessment tools may include:
  • Naturalistic Action Test
  • The Apraxia Test
  • Lowenstein Cognitive Assessment (LOTCA G)
  • Structured Observational test of Function (SOTOF)
  • OP APST- perceptual screening test
  • Functional assessment
