Elements of social identity may include:

Gender	Nationality	Sexuality
Self-image	Ethnicity	Social roles
Job	Characteristic	Appearance
Profession	Culture	Behaviour
Friendships	Group membership	Family

Think about how the ESD team should address each of these aspects.

N.B. Equality and Diversity - there should be no differences but remember that strong cultural and religious issues must be respected, especially in the home.
