Bowel problems

• Constipation– large stools can get stuck and block the bowel. Can be caused by some medications and a poor diet and fluid intake, immobility
• Constipation with overflow – Liquid stools leak around the blockage in the bowel
• Faecal impaction – dry and hardened stools collect in the rectum
• Bowel motility reduction – faecal leaking
