- Sensory stimulation; for example, getting the patient to rub lotion into their affected limb(s)
- Washing and dressing their affected limb(s)
Question 2 – for example:
- Having relatives speak to the patient from their affected side
- Positioning the patient in a room to maximise the amount of activity exposed to their affected side
- Use of an alarm clock positioned on their affected side, set on snooze, as this would require the patient to locate and switch off the alarm each time it rang
