| Stimulating the neglected side | Sensory stimulation, vibration, utilising neglected side in functional activities crossing midline |
| Activities that force patient to look to left side | Letter cancellation, scanning activities |
| Bilateral tasks | Using both limbs together such as dressing practice |
| Visual cues | Line at side of page, red tape, a flashing light |
| Verbal cues | Verbal cue (i.e. the voice of the therapist or a family member) or auditory cue (i.e. horn or bell) on the neglected side to improve awareness of that space |
| Functional tasks | Functional tasks to facilitate automatic response |
| Orthoptics | Eye patching, hemiglasses: This forces the patient to look through the side of the lens that represents the side that they are ignoring (usually the left side) |
| Fresnel Prisms | Fresnel Prisms cause a shift of the visual field |
