Inattention
- Inability to integrate and use perceptions from affected side of body or affected side of environment
- May occur independently of visual deficits or be compounded by hemianopia
- Patient may ignore the side of body and extra-personal space that is contralateral to the lesioned hemisphere i.e. will eat food on one side of plate or will only shave one side of face
- Most commonly reported following lesions of the right hemisphere
